Breaking Down the Big 12 - Nebraska Cornhuskers

21 (that's right.  3 weeks)

Number 9 in the country in Total Offense, number 112 in Rushing Defense, tied for 117 in turnover Margin (ahead of  only Baylor) and tied for 112th in sacks for 2007, the only question is what does Bo know that we don’t?

Ladies and Gents, I give you......

The Nebraska Cornhuskers

2007 Season: 5-7, 2-6 Conf

2008 Season: 9-3,  5-3 Conf

Highlights: Nebraska has stolen the "we try harder" motto from Avis this year.  Bo has the team hopping so they may not be bright, but they will sure be early.  Joe Ganz and Marlon Lucky return on the Offensive side of the ball.  They will be challenged to keep up their offensive production last year with this focus on defense.  Cody Glenn is a playmaker on the defensive side of the ball.

Lowlights:   Defense, Turnovers and sacks.  If returning DE’s Turner and Potter can get their head out, it will be a long season for some North opponents.  Otherwise it’s the same mess for less.  No question that Bo will do something about the turnover ratio.  If Joe Ganz goes down, the Huskers are screwed.

Keys to Success:   Solid defense and hold on to the rock.  Win against Va Tech.
