158 days until kickoff....

It seems that the only quality football we can get in the = overhyped sea of march madness is NFL Network’s draft analysis.  But at = least the winter doldrums have about passed.  We’ve got the draft, = spring football, lake season and then fall will be here before we know = it.

Starting off our weekend = with the blotter.  Someone please find these poor boys something to = do.  How long until spring football?

South Carolina DL charged with drug = possession

Hawaii corner Davis charged with sexual = assault

Police charge Iowa DE with punching cab driver

Former Badgers RB Hill arrested after cop = chase

Pitt suspends WR Porter after 2nd DUI arrest =

Penn State's Odrick cited for disorderly conduct

And just when we all thought = Steve Spurrier had no standards = whatsoever….

Spurrier indefinitely suspends lineman Ajiboye

Just when you thought that = the pirate was tucked away in Lubbock with his new contract in hand

Mike Leach let the NFL coaches know what he thinks of the system quarterback label they are putting on Harrell.  The world is a = better place thanks to Mike Leach.

“Leach, who scoffs at the system-quarterback label, angrily talked about NFL = teams' concern regarding Harrell's ability to work from under center. =

"You bring up easily the most pitiful NFL cop-out of all," Leach said in = a telephone interview.

"And you can send that message to the whole NFL. Any coach who has ever said = or uttered those words or considers that a concern, here's my message for = them: How could you possibly look yourself in the mirror and consider yourself = an NFL coach and not be able to teach a guy to run back three steps, five steps = and seven steps? I can teach a child that!

"Any coach in the NFL who can't do that ought to be fired!" =
