Toe meets leather tonight as the Sooners christen the unholy soil of texas with their first college football game in Jerry World.  Take a towel to dry behind the ears of both offensive lines because you have 4 newbies trying to stay between Max Hall and McCoy/English.  When OU has the ball, the new look O line will need to keep Yan Yorgensen away from Slingin' Sam.   

The line is still 22 even though OU lost TE Gresham this week to an injured knee and is out for 4 weeks.  BYU has lost 12 straight games to ranked non-conference opponents. OU hasn't lost a non-conference opener since 2005 against the dreaded Christian Horned Frogs. Last year OU was 10-3 against the spread. 

Everything else aside, I've taken a straw pole of BYU fans that I know.  The question was is it possible for the Fighting Cougars to keep it close with a major conference team.  This.....was the overwhelming response.
